<p>The invention relates to a machine for continuous casting of liquid metal, comprising two parallel cylinders (rolls) (1, 2), driven in rotation in opposite directions and separated by a casting space (3), and closure plates (4) applied against the front faces of the cylinders (rolls) (1, 2). According to the invention, at least one of the closure plates (4) comprises an orifice (8) provided below the normal level of the surface of the liquid metal in the casting space (3) and this orifice (8) communicates with a bottom-fed vessel of liquid metal (11).
