The proximity console, usable especially in medical examining rooms, consists of a standard part, console body (1), foot with castors (2) and control panel including a metal plate (3) supporting a printed circuit (6) fitted with its control keys (7), and of an interchangeable part including a removable, magnet size elastomer plate (4) provided with cutouts corresponding to the matrix of keys and on which is bonded a screen-printed label matched to the configuration of the equipment installed in the examining room. The proximity console is applicable especially to rooms for vascular examinations in which the configurations may change. <IMAGE>
