The present invention relates to a safety binding for a ski intended to hold, in a releaseable manner, the front of a boot (3) mounted on the ski (2). This binding is characterised in that it includes means permitting an upward displacement of the front of the sole and its elastic return downwards, a feeler (sensor) (29) located at a short distance above the horizontal upper and front edge (3a), of the sole of the boot (3) and capable of being raised by this edge (3a), and linking means (31) between this feeler (29) and the mechanism (14,15) for locking the lateral retention wings (8) so as to unlock these wings as soon as the feeler (29) is raised by the front and upper edge (3a) of the sole of the boot (3). <IMAGE> |
