The halogen light has a cover ring (38) covering the edge (32) of the reflector and the edge (14) of the casing. The outer periphery of the pot-shaped casing (12) of the light has leaf springs (36) to clamp the casing into a cavity. The edge (32) of the reflector (26) is attached to an outward-projecting flange (14) on the casing by rivets (34), to which also is riveted one of the leaf springs (36). A holder (22) for the halogen lamp is fixed into the casing by a retaining angle (16) riveted to the bottom of the casing. This fixing is such that the lamp extends axially along the casing through an opening (28) in the reflector. Clamping springs fix the cover ring (38) to the casing.
