The method applies for manufacturing the sheet type electrode without abnormal deformation caused by the punch press. The unit electrode (20) including beam holes (21) and the reinforcing beads (22) is separated from the conveyed sheet material by the die and punch. The bolster supporting the unit electrode with certain elastic force is installed under the sheet material so that it compensates the deformation of the circumfence of the separated electrode.
