A suction unit aspirates blood and possibly rinsing fluids from e.g. an operation point, and sources are available for anti-coagulant dilution media. - The blood feeds into a collection container for treatment, and then to a filter for removal of filtrate, including at least part of the dilution medium. Finally, the blood reaches container from which it is returned to the patient. A measurement device is incorporated for measuring haematocrit and/or haemoglobin values in the treated blood. |
