The method is for answering selectively to the call signals coming simultaneously at the attendant console having of few communication loops. The method comprises steps; (a) selecting one attendant console which load is smallest; (b) transfering to the call wait state after searching the empty line; (c) displaying and buzzering that the wait line is taken by the calling part; (d) transmitting the ring start information to the attendant console; and (e) displaying the service state of the corresponding line when inputting the response selection key from the console, and connecting the communication loop between the subscriber and the console.
