A streamlined windscreen wiper conventionally includes a body (2) carrying a main waffle tree (21) and auxiliary waffle trees (24) carrying a windscreen wiper blade (19), the said body being connected to an articulation with a drive head (5) capable of giving it an oscillatory rotational movement. According to the present invention, the body (2) is made in two parts (11, 12) each one carrying a sprung means (25, 26) connected, on the one hand, to the drive head and, on the other hand, to each part (11, 12) so as to urge these parts towards the surface (7) to be wiped. <IMAGE>
