<p>Apparatus for cutting and shaping material into a spherical body comprises an assembly consisting of a number of rotary shutter members (10) for forming an opening (16) at their center and for closing the same to cut and shape the material as it passes through the opening (16). Each member (10) has a pair of opposed curved side surfaces (y1, y2,) and is associated with each other member (10) such that when the members (10) make a pivotal movement, one curved surface (y1) of each member slides over the corresponding opposite curved surface (y2) of an adjacent member (10).</p> |
