A paint having a good corrosion-, impack- and chemical-resistance is produced by reacting 40 wt.pts. xylene with 36 wt.pts. styrene monomer, 15 wt.pts. butylacetate monomer, 5 wt.pts. methylmethacrylate, 0.5 wt.pt. acrylic acid and 0.4 wt.pt. benzoyl peroxide at 150 deg.C for 3 hr, maturing the mixt. at 130 deg.C for 3 hr, reacting it with 2.1 wt.pts. xylene and 1 wt.pt. benzoyl peroxide at 130 deg.C for 3 hr, and cooling the mixt. at room temp. to obtain a transparent modified acryl resin, and blending 70 wt.pts. acryl resin with 8 wt.pts. colored pigment, 10 wt.pts. alumina-ceramic, 2 wt.pts. zinc borate, 8 wt.pts. xylene and 2 wt.pts. stabilizer.
