MOTOR VEHICLE STARTING SYSTEM

A road vehicle system has an IC engine that drives a hydrostate transmission that inputs torque to a propeller shaft coupled to a differential. The output of the differential connects with half shafts driving the road wheels. Coupled to the propellor shaft is an angular velocity sensor that provides a signal used together with the accelerator pedal sensor signal in the control unit. Dependent upon the status of the signals, an enable signal is generated for operation of the transmission selector.
