The support belts (1) have drainage channels for the water squeezed out by the screens (3). Each support belt is made up of flexible webbing or chain (1), and plate-like pressing elements (10) are connected to the flexible webbing or the chain (1). The rollers (9) are displaced separately with different pressures by means of hydraulic cylinder-piston units (12).
