The invention relates to a procedure for producing electrical contacts of W-Ag with 10...30 % silver, used as circuit breaking contacts for automatic circuit breakers of low, medium and high voltage. The procedure is specific to powder metallurgy, and consists of mixing the tungsten powder, 70...90 % with nickel and copper powder, dozed to obtain the desired composition, granulating the mixture, pressing it to pellets which are the subjected to sintering - infiltrating thermal treatment, in hydrogen, together with the amount of silver calculated to obtain the desired composition. The contacts thus produced have functional characteristics allowing their use in low, medium and high voltages.
