ELECTRONIC COUNTER

The invention relates to an electronic counter that can assign the desired number of reference marks. The counter generates a warning signal upon reaching the assigned number. Each reference mark is detected using a passage detector and is counted in a system of cascade-connected decade counters. The display system consists of a LED for each decimal rank that signals the coincidence between the assigned number of reference marks using a decade counter and the content of the counter assigned to the appropriate decimal rank. The counter content is deleted when the reference mark number that was counted coincides with the assigned number.
