<p>The pin plug has a casing (1) in which contact pins (3) are longitudinally movable between a projected position, against which they are spring-loaded, and a withdrawn position, against which they are equally spring-loaded. The release mechanism consists of a driver (9) arranged in the casing, which engages the contact pins, and is movable from an inactive position, against which it is spring-loaded, to an extended active position in order to push the contact pins to the withdrawn position. Connecting cable (6) for a plug extends into the casing via a through aperture (19) which has an outer mouth with outwardly increasing cross-sectional area. It is fixed to the driver so that by pulling it the driver moves from an inactive position, in which the contact pins are in the extended position, to an active one in which the pins are withdrawn.</p> |
