<p>Cholecystokinin antagonists are provided having formula (I) wherein Ar is (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f) or (g) (wherein the aromatic moiety may be substituted or unsubstituted), or (h); R1 is H, C¿1? to C6 alkyl, C1 to C6 alkenyl, cycloalkyl, -(CH2)qaryl, -(CH2)q(substituted aryl) or -(CH2)qheterocyclic, wherein q is 0 to 4; R?2¿ is H, methyl or ethyl; T is carboxyl, -CONR5R6 (wherein R?5 and R6¿ are independently H or C¿1? to C4 alkyl) or tetrazolyl; n is 0 to 3, and Q is (i) or (j) wherein X is C1 to C4 alkyl, C1 to C4 alkoxy, C1 to C4 thioalkoxy, carboxy, C1 to C4 carboalkoxy, nitro, trihalomethyl, hydroxy, -NR?7R8¿ (wherein R?7 and R8¿ are independently H or C¿1? to C4 alkyl), C1 to C4 alkylaryl, C1 to C4 alkyl(substituted aryl) or halo; m is 1 to 3; p is 0 to 3; and R?3¿ is H, C¿1? to C5 alkyl or -(CH2)rR?4¿ wherein r is 0 to 4 and R4 is aryl or substituted aryl; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof.</p> |
