<p>A microbiological method for detecting a mineral or organic toxic product, and the Saccharomyces strains which can be used for implementing the method, are described. According to the method, a vial (1) is used to grow microorganisms which are sensitive to the toxic product to be detected and can cause ethanol fermentation, such as Saccharomyces strains LyA1 Nr. I-964 and LyB1 Nr. I-965, using a culture medium containing the sample, whereafter the fermentation activity inhibition rate caused by the presence of the sample is determined, for example by measuring the quantities of CO2 given off (at 9) in the presence and absence of said sample.</p> |
