The oscillatory conveyor has an angled oscillation plate supporting a material container and an electromagnetic drive providing oscillation of the plate in the main conveying direction. The electromagnetic drive uses a fixed stator (6) cooperating with an armature (4) attached to the oscillation plate and an energising winding (5) supplied with an AC or pulsed 05!signal. The oscillation plate is supported for limited vertical and horizontal movement via spring elements (41) around at least part of its circumference, at a common angle of inclination to the plane containing the main conveying direction. The armature and stator stampings packets are each associated with 2 oscillating armature motors contained within the space enclosed by the spring elements (41).
