New agents for the therapy of haemophilia A are obtainable by maintaining a mixt. of factor VIII, antithrombin III, a phospholipid and calcium ions in an aqueous solution for at least 1 minute at 1-45 deg. C; adding factor IX and maintaining the soln. at 1-45 deg. C until a sample of it when added to an inhibitor plasma gives a partial thromboplastin time (PTT) of 15-30 seconds; optionally adding a polyol and/or an amino acid; and optionally drying the solution.
