An easy entry seat assembly may include a seat frame having a seat bottom and a backrest. The seat frame may include a latch configured to lock the seat assembly in the upright seated position. An object detector may be provided on the seat frame to detect the presence of an object located in a path of the latch as the seat frame is moved from the forward easy entry position to the upright seated position. |
