A flat plate (1) has triangular flanges (7) at each end. The angle stop is mounted on the flanges (18) projecting from the support table (2). Each stop plate flange has a straight slot (10) and a curved slot (11). The straight slot engages a pin (23) fixed to the support table flange. The curved slot receives a clamping screw which engages a tapped hole (25) in the support table flange. The slots enable the angular position of the stop plate to be varied.
