<p>A braking device of a rodless cylinder, wherein a movable member (3) which is located outside the main body (1) and movable together with the piston (2) is connected to a piston (2) movably provided in a main body (1) of a cylinder. A brake rail (8), extending in parallel to a moving direction of the piston (2), is located on the outer surface of the main body (1) of the cyclinder. A brake member (16) is engageably or disengageably opposed to the brake rail (8) and moved by a working member (17) to a braking position where the brake member (16) is engageable with the brake rail (8) or to a non-braking position where the brake member (16) is disengageable from the brake rail (8), to thereby perform braking or brake releasing of the movable member (3).</p> |
