oil and fat-contg. feed beef cattle is prepd. by (a) heating fatty acid at 80-160 deg.C, (b) putting 80-90 % heated fatty acid and 10- 20 % calcium hydroxide into the container, and safonifying at 80-160 deg.C to obtain the calcium fatty acid (The viscosity of calcium fatty acid is 0.6-1 million cps at 80-150 deg.C), (c) cooling the obtd. calcium fatty acid at 30 deg.C, (d) pulverizing it and making pellet of the 3-8 mm diameter and 5-20 mm length. The obtd. feed is digested well in the rumen.
