<p>Guiding method and system for a robot equipped with guide marking sensors for a guide mark such as a magnetic wire defining its trajectory. A trajectory is only partially defined by way of the guide mark. The segments (T) that the robot passes over, guiding itself on the guide mark, are separated by stretches with a constant radius of curvature (U) which the robot passes over automatically.
