Wheel hub noteworthy in that it comprises a part (A) fixed to the chassis (B) of the vehicle (C) forming a bearing (10) and carrying movable braking means and a removable part (D) forming the wheel hub proper (13) or (22) cooperating in terms of sliding with the bearing and equipped with a quick-release device; the said hub being set up with fixed means complementary to the movable braking means actuated by the user.
