<p>A multipurpose tool (2) for use in moving heavy industrial equipment, which tool comprises a strain-taking member (8), a first pair of connector members (10, 12) which are spaced apart from each other and which extend from the strain-taking member (8), a second pair of connector members (14, 16) which are spaced apart from each other and which extend from the strain-taking member (8), and drive means (18) which is movable with respect to the strain-taking member (8) in order to push into or pull away from two parts (4, 6) to be moved relative to each other, and the first pair of connector members (10, 12) being spaced apart from the second pair of connector members (14, 16) such that the two parts (4, 6) to be moved relative to each other are receivable between the first and the second pairs of connector members (10, 12; 14, 16).</p> |
