The after treating agent for degumming spun silk is characterized by sticking 2.0-4.0 wt. of treating agent composed of 25-40 wt.% mineral oil, 5-15 wt.% polyethylene glycol alkylether nonionic surfactant having 600-800 average molecular weight, 25-35 wt.% synthetic ester, 5-10 wt.% antistatic agent and 3- 7 wt.% higher alcohol to the surface of the spun silk, drying the silk at 40-50 deg.C for 20-40 min, and ageing it for 25-80 hr. The after treating agent has an excellent antistatic property, penetrating propery and diffusibility.
