The circuit is for gamma correction with high speed processing by masking reverse gamma correction data into the extra memory in chroma tune ROM or color correcting ROM and loading the reverse gamma correction data to reverse gamma correction RAM when power is turned on. It includes chroma tune memory (81) for accessing chroma tune correction data and reverse gamma correction data, and a reverse gamma correction controller for controlling the read/write process of the memories (81,99) and the read process of the reverse gamma correction memory (99).
