This material is used for producing fire-proof bricks, muffles of electro-resistant furnaces, holders for open hot plates, for ceramic panels and other accessories for household electric appliances. The products possess an enhanced mechanical strength and improved electrical- and heat-insulation properties. The material contains (in mass%) : kaolin chamotte, fraction of up to 0.5 mm (from 40 to 70), enriched kaolin, fraction of up to 0.5 mm (30 to 60) expanding agent, fraction of up to 1 mm (5 to 20), phosphate bond, (5 to 20), ethylene glycol (4 to 20), water (5 to 25), and, if needed, carboxymethylcellulose (up to 2).
