The centrifuge bowl 1 is provided with a separator plate 9 in the spacer fillets 11 of which feed channels 14 are provided for a diluting liquid. The feed channels 14 lead from a central feed chamber 15 to a peripheral region 7 of the centrifuge bowl 1. The addition of diluting liquid into the peripheral region 7 enables the problem-free withdrawal of a heavy product phase of pasty consistency via the delivery channels 12 in the separator plate 9. Slime and solid matter is ejected through valve (6) - controlled openings 8. It is used in refining of animal and vegetable oils and fats. <IMAGE> |
