The synchroniser for clutches, especially for vehicle gear-shift mechamisms, has an internally cogged gear-shift sleeve (1) connected to a shaft. A coupling-piece (9) has external cogging. A synchroniser-ring (2) makes frictonal contact with the gear-shift sleeve by means of external locking-cogging in a peripheral direction. A meshing piece (5) is axially fixed to the synchronising-ring and has meshing-cogging (11) into which the gear-shift sleeve's internal cogging fits when the sycnhronous rotational speed is reached. The intermeshing piece (5) is connected by connections (13), in the form of bolts, pin or lugs, fitting into holes (14) in the coupling-piece (9) or joined to the free cog-wheel (4). ADVANTAGE - The synchroniser reduces the gear-shift sleeve's connecting time to a minimum when a rotational speed differential is reached.
