The refrigeration device uses an evaporator for reducing the temp. within a reception compartment for a can or bottle and a heat exchanger for transferring the heat energy from the evaporator to the enviroment. The heat is transported from the evaporator to the heat exchanger via a heat pump. The evaporator comprises a plate (58) of a material with good thermal conductivity, the heat pump provided by a Peltier module (1) with a number of Peltier elements between the evaporator plate (58) and a ribbed heat sink element (59) acting is the heat exchanger.
