<p>A gauge for the linear measurement of the inner and outer dimensions of an object, comprising a fully exposed or partly enclosed scale member M carrying graduations D1 of linear unit scale divisions open to view; a spring-loaded cursor C slidably movable over the scale member, the said cursor and scale member being respectively provided with pairs of cooperating jaws J1, J2 for defining the inner and outer dimensions of the object; at least one pointer or indicator P1, P2 provided on the cursor and positioned thereon to indicate zero reading on the scale member whenever the pairs of jaws are fully closed on each other, and a boss V provided on the cursor for manipulating the same along the scale member. <IMAGE></p> |
