A battery pack according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a tray, an array frame positioned above the tray and that houses at least one battery cell and a retention clip mounted to the tray and engageable with a portion of the array frame. One of the portion and the retention clip is flexible and the other of the portion and the retention clip is rigid.

1. A battery pack, comprising:
a tray; an array frame positioned above said tray and that houses at least one battery cell; a retention clip mounted to said tray and moveably received against a portion of said array frame, wherein one of said portion and said retention clip is flexible and the other of said portion and said retention clip is rigid; said retention clip including a base and a clip arm that extends from said base; and said base is welded to said tray and said clip arm extends upwardly from an end of said base.
