The anchor for a seat belt to a vehicle floor has a magnesium alloy or copper-zinc alloy pressure die casting serving as a holding piece (16) and having a sinusoidal shape with two half waves (20, 21). One of the half waves (21) has on its first flank (21a) an opening to receive a tube section (17) for the cable (12) of a seat belt lock and the other half wave (20) has an opening through which is fitted a fastenign screw (14) to clamp the vehicle body (15). ADVANTAGE - Seat belt anchor point which is bot simple to manufacture and fit correctly.
