IC engine circulation pump with integrated drive - using sealed electric motor with pump coupled directly to its rotor

The circulation pump (1) is relatively spaced from the engine and driven by an electric motor, e.g. an async. AC type, driven directly by the alternator. Pref. the motor for the water pump is fully encapsulated and inserted in the cooling water circuit, with sealed motor supply connections. The pump is pref. coupled directly to the rotor (3) of the motor. ADVANTAGE - Prevents wear and leakage problems.
