The electronic circuit board carrying module is constructed from side wall panels (2, 3) with profiled rail material to provide support for panels. The top and bottom sections have rails that provide locations for circuit boards (11). Edge connectors at the rear of the boards engage with built in connnectors (13). The front openings of the module are enclosed by metal plates (14) to provide efficient screening. Side sections, both on the plates and the module walls, (29, 39) carry spring contact inserts (31). Similarly the gap between plates is taken up by a sprung, metal element. ADVANTAGE - Facilitates insertion and removal of circuit boards.
