Hammer-in anchor with expanding sleeve engaging in boreholes - has reduced dia. stud at front end on expanding pin
摘要
The expanding sleeve (1) is slit from the front end over part of its length and an expanding pin (2) corresponding in dia. to that of the longitudinal bore is driven into the tapering section to secure the anchor in the bore hole. When hammering in the pin (2) the end edge of the stud (9) strikes the inner face of the tapered section (7) at a distance from the transition between the cylindrical part of the bore and the tapered section. The dia. of the stud pref. matches the mean dia. of the tapered section and the length of the stud is pref. half that of this section (7). The expanding pin only engages on the inner face of the tapered section at a distance from the joint of the expanding segment. ADVANTAGE - Leverage ratios are produced which allow the expanding segments to spread out whilst using considerably reduced hammering effort.
