The method for mfg. a magnetic recording tape comprises (a) agitating a mixture of 100 wt. parts of magnetic substance, 1 wt. part of lecithin, 3 wt. parts of carbon, 10 wt. parts of binder (MXR-536), 10 wt. parts of binder (CA-328), 2 wt. parts of activating agent 6 wt. parts of hardening agent, and 450 wt. parts of mixture solvent for 2 hr to obtain a magnetic pigment, (b) coating a polyethylene terephthalate film with the pigment, (c) hardening the coated film, and (d) cutting the hardened film. The tape is used for a video, a computer or an audio.
