The apparatus precisely adjusts the fuel injection quantity by controlling the fuel pressure within a delivery pipe, to reduce the noxious constituent of the exhaust gas. The fuel pressure controller comprises the delivery pipe (5) connected with a fuel tank (1) through tubes (6,10) and having a plurality of fuel injectors (4); a first sensor (7) sensing the pressure within the delivery pipe (5); a solenoid valve (9) having a valve (11) elasticaly assembled with an outlet port (9') of the delivery pipe (15); a second sensor (14) sensing the pressure within a surge tank (13); a control unit (8) sequentially controlling the fuel injectors (4), and generating a drive signal for the solenoid valve (9) if the pressure difference between the delivery pipe (5) and the surge tank (13) is more than a reference value.
