The method for supressing the brightness deterioration due to anodes comprises the steps of forming lower barrier walls (B) on the inner surface of front plate (2) in a constant pitch space, forming thermoplastic material layer (P) between the barrier walls (B), forming anodes (Y) on and between the barrier walls (B) and layer (P), forming upper barrier walls (B) on the lower barrier walls, and sintering the thermoplastic material layer (P) under high temperature to remove the layer (P). The anodes are buried and fixed into the intermediate portion of barrier walls (B), thereby being discharged over the entire surface of the exposed anodes. |
