<p>The invention proposes a portable case for an electronic memory card (C) including, on one of its main faces, electrical contact regions linked to an integrated circuit containing the memory of the card, of the type in which there are provided a compartment which accommodates the card (C) and connecting means (72) for linking the contact regions to an electronic user circuit carrying out at least one function of reading the data contained in the card, characterised in that it includes a housing (10, 12, 14) fitted with a window (22) allowing insertion of the card (C), an electrical connector (72) whose electrical contact elements (73) interact with the said contact regions when the card is in position for using the data, a device for transmitting and receiving (112, 114) data to and from an information processing station and a change-over switch (120) for detecting the insertion of the card (C) into its position of use in the housing (10). <IMAGE></p> |
