PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle data system and method for determining at least one weather-related condition.SOLUTION: A server system configured to communicate with a device which can be mounted on a vehicle, for example, a mobile device or a built-in navigation device includes: a communication resource for receiving vehicle data indicating a parameter of the vehicle; and a processing resource operable to acquire weather data and to process the weather data and the vehicle data in order to determine at least one weather-related condition according to both of the weather data and the vehicle data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
