PURPOSE: To obtain a ultrasound image-forming composition, capable of adhering on an inner wall of the gastrointestinal tract, providing an excellent ultrasound image and further visualizing a dynamic function and used for human gastrointestinal tract. CONSTITUTION: This ultrasound image-forming composition includes an aqueous dispersion of edible inorganic particles having <100μm size, preferably mineral or metal particles having <30μm size, especially hydrated clay particles having <10μm size or iron oxide particles (coated or buried in an matrix) having <30μm total size, above all kaolin, kaolinite, bentonite, montmorillonite, fuller's earth or attapulgite. The dispersion includes 0.1-10g, preferably 1-5g before particles in 100ml water dissolving ordinary 0.1-10g, preferably 1-5g hydrophilic colloidal disperser and has 10-2,500cp, preferably 100-1,500cp viscosity.
