The end matcher is actually a tounge and groove machine for making a tounge and groove on the ends of the boards. For hardwood floor it is neccessary to tounge and groove the ends of the pieces. This machine provides the manufacturer with a completely automatic endmatcher. The piece is placed on the table of the machine and it is pushed through a set of saws which produce the tounge. The piece continues being pushed onto a coveyer belt which drives it to the other end of the machine where it is pushed through another saw which makes the groove on the other end of the piece.
