Described is a cutting tool with a large number of cutter rings (2.1 to 2.3) on a curved guide rod (1) of circular cross-section. Running along the surface of the guide rod are at least two opposite-handed spiral grooves in which at least one guide element on each cutter ring engages. The guide elements of consecutive cutter rings (2.1, 2.2) always engage in opposite-handed grooves. When the tool is operating, the cutter rings are driven forwards and consecutive rings counter-rotate with respect to each other on account of the spiral grooves (8, 9). |
