An apparatus for feeding a power in a non-contact way wherein a core (A) on a power feeding side and a core (B) on a power receiving side are respectively provided with a plurality of teeth with windings wound therearound and the tooth head faces formed by the respective teeth of the core (A) and the core (B) are so aligned that they face each other with an air gap between them, and the power is fed by the magnetic coupling of the cores (A) and (B) in a non-contact way, characterized in that the tooth head faces of the respective teeth of the core (A) and the core (B) are so opposed to each other on a circumferential surface via the air gap that they can be engaged with and separated from each other, on the power receiving side, a light signal generating circuit (VF, LED) for generating the light signal representing a voltage on the power receiving side is provided, and on the power feeding side, a voltage signal generating circuit (PTr, FV) for generating the voltage corresponding to the received light signal and a cut-off circuit (CMP, THB) for cutting off the feed of the power when the generated voltage is lower than a predetermined value are provided.
