A supporting plate (4) for microwave ovens is placed on legs (6) to keep a distance from the bottom or turn-table in heat chamber (3) of the oven and attached with a heating element (5). The turn- table (7) for supporting plate (4) includes an electromagnetic wave converting device. The heating element facilitates the browning of the cooking food, and the plate (4) is removable for the normal operation of the oven.
