The interior rear-view mirror (4) and both exterior mirrors (6) feature a pivotable reflector (18) in the housing (16) and a remote adjuster (19) with an electric motor (20). The adjustor consists of a positioning drive (17) in the housing connected to an actuator (15) which quickly tilts the reflector into an alternative position preventing dazzle from the headlamps of a following vehicle, and restores the original setting with precision. ADVANTAGE - Movement of the mirrors from the normal to the dipped position requires no special attention from the operator, and is independent of the latter's stature and posture.
