The method involves bringing maintenance units that maintain a longitudinal end (102) of an elongated tubular part (100) between a mold body (2) and a counter-mold (3) in a mold (1), to a maintenance position, where the units are in the maintenance position during molding operation. Displacement of the counter-mold is preceded in a direction of a demolding position by displacing the counter-mold on a travel corresponding to half of a length of the part. The units are brought to a release position, and displacement of the counter-mold is proceeded upto the demolding position. An independent claim is also included for a mold for manufacturing an elongated tubular part in a synthetic material. |
